The signing of veteran Nigerian striker,
Utaka played for Ismaily between 1999-2001 before leaving to play for the likes of Lens, Rennes, Portsmouth and Montpellier.
Reports of his move back to his former club has since been confirmed but the 34-year-old was officially unveiled by Ismaily on Saturday, July 16.
The forward was in the stands to watch his new side at the Alexandria Stadium where they beat Al Masry 2-0 in the Egypt Cup.
It was revealed that Utaka signed a two-year-contract with the club.
In his first stint with the club, Utaka won the Egypt Cup and emerge as league top scorer.
The former Super Eagles forward last played for Sivasspor in Turkey and is now the third signing of Ismaily SC this transfer window.
Former Real Betis left-back Amro Tarek and Amr Abdel-Fattah from Kuwaiti side Khaitan SC have also been signed.
Utaka according to reports, is said to have pocketed a huge sign-on fee before signing the two-year contract with Ismaily.
As a free agent, African Football reports the 34-year-old got a hefty sign-on fee which is comparable to what other players get in Europe.
Sources close to the forward revealed that the sign-on fee was the main reason he agreed a move back to Ismaily.
