After helping Super Eagles to a 2-0 win over Chad in a 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Kaduna, midfielder John Ogu paid a visit to his former club in Festac.
The Hapoel Be'er Sheva of Isreal midfielder visited his former team in Festac Lagos, Flying Sports Academy where he presented sets of jersey, balls and gloves to the club management.
"It was nice to Visit my Club at Festac, Flying Sports Academy," the 27-year-old midfielder wrote on Instagram.
John Ogu started his career in the Ijeshatodo area of Lagos State, where he played youth football at Starlet FC before he was recruited former Sharks and Salamanca player Marshall Mbre who is the owner of Flying Sports Academy.
Super Eagles midfielder Nnamdi oduamadi who is also a product of the academy was present during John Ogu's visit.
Mbre who is the owner of the football academy expressed his appreciation for the midfielder's kind gestures.
"Ogu presented sets of jersey, balls, gloves etc at flying sports academy in training today ," the popular talent scount and agent wrote on Instagram.
"Present also was Nnamdi Oduamadi. Thank u so much. As u remember the academy so also God will rememberyou," he added.
