Ogu who has been playing in Israel since 2014 just resumed pre-season training with Hapoel Be’er Sheva after a short holiday in Nigeria.

On Friday, July 30, it seems the midfielder had a little bit too much to drink as he failed a routine alcohol test after he was stopped by the police.

According to Israeli news website, , Ogu was arrested and had his driver’s license suspended for 30 days.

The reports also state that the midfielder didn't inform his club of the arrest and is expected to be handed a fine.

Ogu who is very active on social media is yet to react to the story of his arrest; instead, he is focusing on football matters alone.

He is however seen smiling and posing for a photo with a policeman in a photo that has emerged on social meda.

The 29-year-old is a back to back Israeli League winner with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
