The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Sunday, October 9 play away to Zambia in match-day one of the World Cup qualifiers.

Ahead of the game, Mikel visited Saraki where he promised that the Super Eagles will take all three points from the fixture in Ndola.

“Had the pleasure of hosting @mikel_john_obi today & nice to get to know him off the pitch. Assures of a great game against Zambia,” Saraki wrote on Twitter along with a photo of him and the midfielder.

Mikel and his Super Eagles teammates will hold their first training ahead of Zambia clash on Tuesday, October 4.

As at the time of this report only players in camp include Mikel, Carl Ikeme, Emmanuel Daniel, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Elderson Echiejile, Jamiu Alimi, Ogenyi Onazi, Anderson Esiti, Moses Simon, Brown Ideye, Bobby Clement and Musa Muhammed.
