England international Jack Grealish has expressed a desire to join Everton if he departs Manchester City before the transfer window closes, according to Sky Sports.
The Toffees are actively negotiating for the 30-year-old midfielder, who spent last season on loan at Goodison Park. Reports from England suggest two options are being considered: another loan spell or a permanent transfer.
Grealish is entering the final year of the six-year contract he signed with Manchester City in 2021. He is expected to leave Enzo Maresca's side after the current season concludes.
Other clubs, including Sunderland and his boyhood team Aston Villa, have also shown interest in the playmaker. However, the Birmingham-based club has already filled its quota for loan players from English teams, having brought in Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United and Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea.
During a press conference, City manager Enzo Maresca commented on Grealish's situation: "Jack is here, and my job is to help him show the best he is capable of. We will see what happens in the next four or five days."
