It seems Pavle won't be playing for Partizan or Zvezda either... He dominated the ABA League, and now he wants the whole world to see him
Pavle Bačko, the talented 18-year-old center, has officially declared for this year's NBA Draft, scheduled for June 23rd and 24th in Brooklyn.
Bačko dominated the junior circuit this season, leading Mega to the ABA League title and earning the tournament's Most Valuable Player award.
Concurrently, he gained valuable senior experience playing for OKK Beograd in the domestic league, where he averaged 12.4 points and 4.5 rebounds. He shot 54 percent from the field, an impressive 37 percent from three-point range, and 81 percent from the free-throw line, all in just 19 minutes per game.
Draft analyst Jonathan Givony confirmed that he received confirmation from Miško Ražnatović regarding Bačko's entry into this year's draft. The Serbian basketball player had already caught the attention of numerous scouts from across the pond at last year's FIBA U18 World Championship.
Interestingly, as a child, Pavle was involved in swimming before transitioning to basketball and beginning his training with Sloga from Požega. It appears his change of sport was a wise decision. Another gem from Mega has once again drawn the attention of the world's strongest league.
