Inter Milan Takes English Route, Nearing Deal for Liverpool Midfielder

The reigning Italian champions have long shown interest in Jones, with Liverpool reportedly rejecting a €25 million bid in June, according to BBC Sport.

The 25-year-old midfielder still has a year left on his contract with "The Reds." Last season, he featured in 49 competitive matches, scoring three goals. However, under new manager Arne Slot, he struggled to secure a regular starting spot.

Should the transfer be finalized, Jones would become Inter's third English signing this summer, following the arrivals of John Stones and Djed Spence.
