Kwacha gains 1 percent on copper, EM rally

By 0700 GMT the kwacha was up 1.14 percent at 9.5 against the dollar.

Zambia's kwacha gained more than 1 percent against U.S. dollar on Wednesday

This came due to support by a rally on emerging markets and the higher price of copper, the country's main commodity export.
