Popular Nigerian Hip-Hop artiste Jude ‘M.I’ Abaga On Friday, August 22, held a photo exhibition in Lagos themed ‘King James’. The photo exhibition was held at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island.
Several photo artworks were exhibited at the event - the photos were earlier unveiled via M.I’s Instagram page.A number of popular personalities were called on to speak about certain topics including Courage, Victory, Family, Respect, and Solitude.
Speakers included Chocolate City’s CEO Audu Maikori, Toyosi Akelere, Japheth Omojuwa, Adebola Williams and others. ‘I did this for to let you all understand where I’m coming from and how it’s taken me to get here’, M.I told guests.
The event was also sponsored by The Winihin Jemide Series, an umbrella organization that provides energetic platforms to facilitate deep conversations that drive nation building, gender inclusiveness, community development and transformative thinking.
The African rapper number 1 also revealed that proceedings from the sales of the different photo exhibitions will be given to charity, specifically to a certain family in Jos who caters to over 70 orphans.
