Dead chicken found inside boiled egg

Posted on Facebook by Ani Bhowmilk, the egg was purchased at WoolWorths supermarket in Sydney, Australia.

He boiled the egg before making the discovery, Daily Mail Australia reports.

Ani wrote on Facebook: ‘Tried to boil them and look what I found! I had boiled a chick!

‘I know you don’t lay the eggs but at least know what you are serving the customers. This is too much protein for me.’

Some Internet users however criticised Ani saying: ‘How are they meant to know what’s inside an egg??? Do you want them to crack them all open and check them?? Far out! Get over it!’

After seeing Ani’s post, the official Woolworths post wrote: ‘We’re very concerned about this, Ani, and take incidents like this very seriously.

‘Please let us know your phone number and state in a Private Message so that we can follow this up with you ASAP.’
