Ifeanyi Matthew of Kano Pillars have joined Norwegian side, Lillestrom, signing a three-year-deal.

Rated as one of the best players of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) the Kano Pillars midfielder was on Thursday, July 28 presented as a new signing by Lillestrom.

Matthew was also one of Nigeria’s best players at the 2016 African Nations Championships.
The former Flying Eagles star won the Africa Youth Championship with Nigeria in Senegal.
Lots were expected from the midfielder ahead of U-20 World Cup in New Zealand before an injury ruled him out after Nigeria’s first game.
