Lamine Yamal, who wears the number 19 jersey, recently turned 19, and the World Cup final is set for July 19th. While this might seem like a promising omen for the Spanish international winger, the Barcelona star remains unfazed by such coincidences.

When questioned about these numerical alignments during a press conference ahead of Spain's World Cup semi-final clash against France, the young forward recalled a similar situation from the round of 16, which saw the Portuguese national team eliminated from the tournament.

"I don't believe in numerology. Portugal's coach also said something similar, and it was Mikel Merino, wearing number 6, who scored the goal, so I don't believe it," he responded, referencing Roberto Martínez's earlier comments about the significance of the number 6 in relation to the 1966 World Cup, 2006 World Cup, and Euro 2016.

Yamal also downplayed his modest goal tally in the competition. "I'm not worried about scoring goals, even though I know it's special to score in games like these (...) I play my game. I'm never going to play better or worse. I always give my best for the team, and when we give our all, we don't feel pressure."
