Ekpang Nkukwo is a meal made from the combination of cocoyam, wateryam and leaves. It is popularly eaten by the Efiks (Cross-river) and Ibibios (Akwa ibom).

The main ingredient which cocoyam, is very healthy for consumption so as to maintain a very healthy immune system, and its is also rich in magnesium, vitamin B6 and also has very low low carbohydrate content . The leaves are also rich in both vitamin A and Vitamin C.
