Arsenal in ‘talks’ with Barcelona over sale of right-back

Spanish Paper Sport reports that representatives from Arsenal and Barcelona have discussed the sale of Ballerin.

Ballerin left Barcelona academy in 2011 at the age of 15 to sign for Arsenal and has been constantly linked with a return since he broke into the Gunners’ first team.

Spanish Paper on Tuesday, March 14 reports that representatives from Arsenal and Barcelona have discussed the sensational £35m return of the Spain international to Nou Camp.

"Barcelona have met with Arsenal to plan his transfer, which is a priority," Sport’s front page reads.

“Blaugrana are sure that the transfer could reach £35m due to the interest of other teams,” their report added,

Bellerin who is also being closely followed by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has become a highly rated right-back since breaking into the Arsenal first team during the 2014-15 season.

With a slew of interest in him, the 21-year-old defender signed a six-and-a-half-year deal with Arsenal in November 2016.

The new deal which guarantees him a weekly pay of £100,000 is until 2022.
