The 23-year-old striker left White Hart Lane on crutches with a protective boot on his right ankle.
It was the same ankle he injured in September 2016 which sidelined him for seven weeks and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is worried.
“It was a similar action in that he twisted his ankle, the same ankle. We hope it’s not a big issue, but it looks similar,” the Argentine coach said.
Kane has been an important part of Tottenham this season as they seek to secure Champions League spot and win the FA Cup.
Kane who has 24 goals in 29 games this season will be assessed by club doctors on Monday and will be sent for scan once the swelling goes down.
