Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland now boasts seven goals at the World Cup. Last night, the Manchester City striker netted twice against Brazil, a performance that proved enough for the Scandinavians to knock Carlo Ancelotti's side out of the 2026 World Cup. Prior to this, the Leeds-born forward had already scored against Iraq (2), Senegal (2), and Ivory Coast.

With these goals, he has surpassed Bulgaria's greatest footballer, Hristo Stoichkov. "The Dagger" (Stoichkov's nickname) has six accurate shots at the World Cup, making him the highest-scoring Bulgarian at the sport's biggest tournament. The Ballon d'Or winner could have also had seven goals, but his left-footed shot struck the post against Paraguay in 1998.
