The Nigerian team had to come from a set down to claim victory and progress to the final where they will face India.

Nigeria lost the first match after veteran Segun Toriola was stopped by Paul Drinkhall (14-12,9-11,7-11,13-11,7-11).

Bode Abiodun won the second match for Nigeria recovering from two sets down to beat Liam Pitchford (8-11,9-11-4,13-11,11-5).

Segun Toriola and Olajide Omotayo defeated Samuel Walker and Paul Drinkhall to win match three 3-1 (2-11,11-7,12-10,11-7).

Liam Pitchford beat Olajide Omotayo to even the scores at 2-2 (11-9, 4-11, 8-11, 11-9, 5-11).

Bode Abiodun won the game and booked Nigeria’s place in the final after defeating Samuel Walker ( 8-11,11-8, 11-9, 6-11, 11-8).

England defeated Singapore to win the third place match while Nigeria takes on India to determine the Gold and Silver winners.
