The Boks Sevens alongside their fellow African counterparts, Kenya made it to the quarter-finals which took place yesterday but it was only the Rainbow Nation that was able to scale past the round of 8 with a 35-12 victory over host Scotland while Kenya lost to New Zealand 19-7.

The boys in Green and White beat Samoa 35-7 en-route the final, just as New Zealand overcame bitter rivals Australia,19-7 to seal a final berth between the two for the first time in the commonwealth games.
