Giannis to the Youth: Seek Knowledge, Not Pictures – I Still Keep My Notebook with 50 Questions for Kobe Bryant

Miami Heat superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a valuable life and basketball lesson to young players during the "Nike Freak 8" event. The forward invited attendees to ask him questions, but was instead asked for a photo.

"A picture? We already took a picture, man. What do they call you guys? Zoomers? You have to want to gain knowledge – that's the most important thing.

What does it take to make it to the NBA? What do you need to do once you get there? How should you treat your teammates and your coach? How do you handle playing in front of 20,000 fans in the stands? How do you deal with the pressure, the fame, and all the distractions? You need to seek knowledge.

"Do you think I have a picture with... Actually, I do. The only picture I have is with Kobe Bryant. But when I went to him, I brought a notepad and asked him 50 questions. That notepad is still at my house. Every time I struggle or don't know the answer, I look back at it," the forward emphasized.

Antetokounmpo has had a remarkable career trajectory – going from the 15th overall pick in the 2013 draft to a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) and league champion.
