Giannis recent NFT deal is just another win for tech in the world of sports
When a major announcement was made last month about NFTSTAR's exclusive license agreement with two-time NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and his three brothers, Thanasis, Kostas and Alex, it was applauded largely by the members of the tech community who are also sports lovers.
The deal meant that NFTSTAR will now develop, sell, and trade NFT collections authorized by the Antetokounmpo brothers, and the brothers will become global ambassadors and shareholders of The9 Limited and NFTSTAR which will launch officially on December 17.
This move comes after the tech company's previous partnership with global sports athletes like PSG star Neymar Jr, Real Madrid legend; Luis Figo and Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-Min as well as NFL star Christian McCaffrey.
The tech company's deal with the Milwaukee Buck's continues the growing trend of athletes delving into tech and how much of an influence the Greek superstar has in Basketball.
