FIFA President, Gianni Infantino had a two-day visit to Nigeria where he will meet with NFF leadership and President Muhammadu Buhari.

Infantino arrived Abuja on Sunday, July 25 on a two day visit with Secretary General of FIFA, Ms Fatma Samoura, executive assistants Mattias Grafstrom and Veron Mosengo-Omba.

They spent their first day in Nigeria at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel for a meeting with NFF president, Amaju Pinnick and other visiting FA presidents from other African countries at a cocktail dinner.

On the second day, the FIFA president and Samoura met with the leadership of the Nigerian National Assembly.

Infantino and his team made a short trip to see works going on at the new headquarters of the NFF -which will be ready before the end of the year- along with the leadership of Nigerian football house.

Infantino then had a meeting with President Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

The FIFA President also attended an U-13 Exhibition match At the National Stadium, Abuja which he kicked off.

After a short media parley, Infantino and Samoura attended a dinner organised by the League Management Company (LMC) in honour of the FIFA president.

At the dinner, Infantino received a traditional outfit his support of football development in Africa and also unveiled former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo as the Ambassador of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
