Getting Toed in the Butt By an MMA Fighter Looks as Terrible as It Sounds

With all the flailing and cheap shots inherent in a Mixed Martial Arts fight, it's often easy to lose sight of the "Arts" part of the whole shebang. Fighter Jorge Kanella certainly did this past Saturday at Bellator 223 in London. In the final round of lightweight fight against Alfie Davis, Kanella made a swift toe kick to a prone Davis who was on his back in a defensive stance. Trouble is that <a href="https://mmajunkie.com/2019/06/bellator-223-video-illegal-kick-toe-in-butt-alfie-davis-reac...

Doing such is a foul in the world of MMA fighting. Referee Kevin McDonald halted the fight after the sh0cker, letting Davis get back to his feet own feet and deducting a point from Kanella. Davis, despite the unexpected erogenous encounter, went on to win the fight.

Afterwards, he reflected on the "Oof, that's uncomfortable" moment. Describing to reporters how what had seemed to be a shot at his gnards made it's way to his butthole:

"It was like, the bum, right at the bottom of the balls. If youre standing up with someone on the floor, you do not go straight line like that. Youre never taught that because its a foul. It slid up. So when I stood up, it was right in the gooch. Its normally pleasurable for a man, isnt it? The gooch. We all enjoy the gooch, but not when youre getting kicked straight in it.

Davis seems to know well the rules of butt play: You can't just go ramming things up there. You've got to warm up quite a bit first.
