The electioneering campaign in Nigeria is throwing up a lot of funny stuff with politicians and their managers trying to outdo one another in the area of creativity.

The trend of sharing food items like rice, milk, beverages and other edible items dates back to the second republic where politicians distributed such items.

But the modern day politicians have gone a step further by sharing customized items including recharge cards, towels, palm oil, palm wine and bottled water.

But the President Goodluck Jonathan re-election campaign train is set to outdo them all with its Jonathan/Sambo Rice. According to the team, the idea is coming courtesy the PDP National Youth Vanguard.
