Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has responded to the revelation made by Sokoto State Governor and former Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal that he supported the emergence of Yakubu Dogara as his successor.
Gbajabiamila had been chosen as the sole candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the position but Dogara defied the party to contest and emerge winner.
According to Tambuwal, who made the revelation on Monday, August 10, 2015, while receiving a delegation from Bauchi, he supported Dogara because of his competence.
In response, Gbajabiamila said that he had “moved on”.
“Alhaji Tambuwal has spoken. For me I have moved on and I can only wish him the best in his future undertakings. I guess Alhaji Tambuwal has finally spoken,” the lawmaker said.
