Apple will be holding their iPad Air event on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, where the new iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 3 with Retina display will be announced.
The company will reportedly be unveiling a number of other devices at the event, one of which was a Retina MacBook Air.
However, it is now being rumoured that this device will not show up at the event.
According to a report by re/code; Apple may well have a new MacBook Air with Retina Display in the pipeline, but it's not going to unveil it this week. Sources familiar with Apple's plans tell me that the company's latest reimagining of the ultralight laptop won't be shown off at its Thursday event.
Geeky Gadgets have also reported that a number of other devices that will be displayed at the event will include a new Apple TV set top box which is rumoured to come with apps and games and also with HomeKit Integration.
There have also been rumours that there is a new Mac Mini on the way as evidence of the devices existence appeared recently. Also, a new Retina Display iMac is rumoured to be available.
Apple is also expected to release OS X Yosemite at the event.
