"We are looking forward to working together," Straelen's President Hermann Tecklenburg added.

Oliseh last managed the Dutch side, Fortuna Sittard, where he played a decisive role in their promotion to the Eredivisie in the 2017/2018 season.

However, three years after he was suspended and subsequently left the Dutch side, the 47-year-old is back in the dugout and will be looking to impress his new club as he relaunches his coaching career.

His first match in charge of Straelen will see him take on second division club FC St, Pauli in the main round of the DFB Cup on July 30.
