United, Arsenal top 5 teams with the highest FA Cup wins since 1960

Only a few teams have won the English FA Cup enough to be regarded as seasonal champions

Some others happen to be incidental winners of the oldest club football competition in England.

Since 1960, in 52 editions, only 18 teams have won the cup, with Manchester United recording the highest triumphs.

The first team however to win it back-to-back in 1960/1961 was the Tottenham Hotspur team which had late Dave Mackay in its line-up.

Mackay helped the team to a double that season in 61. They still went on to win again in 1967.

Besides Spurs, who have only six times since 1960, Liverpool and Chelsea are other teams that dominated the middle 20 century.
