After a goalless first half, a spirited display in the second 45-minutes saw Nigeria get their FIFA U-20 World Cup back on the rails as the romped to a 4-0 win over Korea DPR.

A quick-fire brace from Saviour Godwin opened the floodgate before  Kingsley Sokari  and Isaac Success added a goal each to complete the thrashing.

The Flying Eagles started brightly as captain Musa Muhammed struck a thunderbolt inside of the post with Korea goalkeeper Cha Jong beaten.

Korea DPR improved and grew into the game, but could not threaten their Nigerian counterparts.

Taiwo Awoniyi and Bernand Bulbwa threatened, before a Muhammed free-kick and Taiwo Awoniy forced a double save from the busy Korean goalkeeper.

The Flying Eagles opened goal scoring in the second half as Godwin scored after the Korean goalkeeper misjudged a cross.

Godwin got his brace just three minutes later who collected a pass from Awoniyi coolly slotted through legs of defender and goalkeeper.

Sokari added a third with a curling shot from the edge of the area into the top left corner.

Substitute Success sealed the win for Flying Eagles after a slick exchange of passes between him and  Awoniyi.
