Former Super Eagles defender, Ben Iroha has tipped the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria for victory in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
The Eaglets are already through to the next stage having won two games-the 2-0 win over the Unites States of America and the 5-1 thrashing of host, Chile.
In a chat with , the Iroha said the Emmanuel Amuneke led boys have all it take to get to the final of the competition.
Iroha opined that the two wins by the Golden Eaglets show that the defending champions will go very far in the tournament but the technical crew and players will have to dig deep to win it.
“You and I know that the Under 17 competition has never been our problem but from the U-20 when the big boys start coming in, a lot is required then,” Iroha told Sporting Life.
“I don’t know about winning it but I am certain the Eaglets will play in the final.”
The Golden Eaglets will face Croatia in their last match of Group A on Friday, October 23.
