Ferrari will have a new reserve driver for the 2027 Formula 1 season in Dino Beganovic, who is currently part of the Scuderia's Driver Academy.
The Swedish racer has been a member of the Prancing Horse's junior programme since 2020 and is currently competing in his second full Formula 2 campaign, where he sits fifth in the standings. Alongside his F2 duties, Beganovic has worked closely with Ferrari's F1 team, taking part in four free practice sessions over the past two seasons.
From next season, the Swede will step up to an even more prominent role as one of the team's official reserve drivers. He will share the duties with Antonio Giovinazzi, who will continue to balance his World Endurance Championship (WEC) commitments with his Formula 1 reserve role for Ferrari.
