Levante's new signing hailed as the 'Arabian Ronaldo, Messi'

Al-Muwallad's signing was confirmed by Levante on Tuesday, January 23.

After his signing, the director of La Liga in North Africa and the Middle East, Fernando Sanz has described him as the Arabian Ronaldo or Messi.

The director made this statement at a partnership between the Spanish LaLiga and Saudi Arabian Football Association.

The partnership agreement sees an influx of nine players from the Saudi League to Spain's first and second football divisions.

Al-Muwallad is a 23-year-old forward on loan from Al-Ittihad Club and has scored nine goals in 40 appearances for the Saudi Arabian national team, who will be competing at the 2018 .

He will be available for selection when Levante face Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid on Saturday, February 3.
