Modenine insinuated that Jay-Z in 'The Story of OJ' sampled one of his songs off his 2008 album "Paradigm Shift" without due acknowledgment, though came out later to clear the air that he wasn't calling Jay-Z out.

Osagie Alonge and Ayomide Tayo on this episode of Facts Only discuss the matter at hand, explaining the origin and concept of sampling.

"Only a few crop of artists understand the elements of going back to look at classic records that did very well, remix them and making it even better,"  Osagie commented.

Using as a case study of Nigerian singer Skales who sampled a Fela Kuti song for the remix of his single 'Temper' featuring Burna Boy, without due permission initially, Osagie demystified the theory.
