Fabio Di Giannantonio was not entirely satisfied with his performances in qualifying and the sprint at Mandalika, despite securing third place in both sessions.

Speaking after the sprint race, the Italian explained that he could have delivered an even stronger showing, though he chose not to reveal what held him back. Nonetheless, he was pleased to be fighting at the sharp end of the pack once again, a feeling he had not experienced in quite some time.
"I'm always very critical of myself. Today, I think I could have done better, but we have to look on the bright side. We are back where we want to be with plenty of speed. We're hungry, we want to fight with these guys, so we should be proud of what we achieved today. But we're not done yet—we'll push again tomorrow," said Di Giannantonio, who celebrates his 28th birthday today.
