Declan Rice, Marc Guéhi, and Reece James were absent from England's training session yesterday, instead following individual recovery programs. The Arsenal midfielder, Rice, has been battling a hamstring issue for months, a fact he himself acknowledged. However, he is still expected to start in the quarter-final clash against Norway.

Guéhi is dealing with muscle fatigue but is also highly likely to feature at the heart of the defense alongside Ezri Konsa. The biggest concern remains Reece James, who has missed the last three matches and is working tirelessly to recover for the Norway game. Jarell Quansah is injured, and while Djed Spence also had issues, the latest indications suggest he will be fit to start at right-back.

Jordan Henderson has rejoined the national squad after undergoing hand surgery for an unfortunate injury sustained during the celebrations following their victory over Mexico. After that match, the "Three Lions" were given two days off, and yesterday marked their first training session back. The team is scheduled to fly to Miami on Friday morning. The match against Norway kicks off at midnight Bulgarian time on Saturday into Sunday.
