Another Super Eagles player is set to miss out on next month's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers tie against Tanzania with an injury.

Al Ain striker, Emmanuel Emenike is now a  major doubt for game after he suffered a muscle injury in the Super Cup game against Al Nasr, which Al Ain won 4-2, with Emenike scoring a brace during the encounter.

Emenike also missed the Arabian Gulf League opener against Al Dhafra on Friday, August 21.

It seem Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi will also not be taking part in Nigeria's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania next month.

“MRI he underwent Obi showed an overuse the semitendinosus muscle of the left thigh. Recovery times are currently estimated at approximately 5-7 days," the report reads.
