Eintracht Offers €12M for Rennes Defender

Eintracht Frankfurt is reportedly keen on signing Rennes defender Lilian Brassier, according to German newspaper "Bild." The 26-year-old Frenchman is under contract with Rennes until 2029, but the Bundesliga club has tabled an offer of 12 million euros for his services.

Brassier rejoined Rennes in 2025 after a six-month stint with Marseille. He was notably absent from the squad preparing for their Ligue 1 season opener against champions Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Roma had also shown interest in the French defender, but a change in the Italian capital club's management ultimately scuppered the potential transfer.
