What do you think is the most searched job in Nigeria?

Although reasons for selecting jobs vary from job satisfaction, prestige, financial and non financial benefits. If we are to do a poll I think everyone would have different opinions, and most will choose a job that is believed (Oil Money) to have an incredible pay.

Efritin.com, Nigeria’s leading online marketplace recently collated the data of the most searched jobs  in the last quarter of 2015 in Nigeria according to sectors and Oil and Gas jobs toped the search.

Oil and Gas jobs had the total of 242,650 searches, Engineering jobs had the total of 37,377  searches, Banking jobs had the total of 8,322 searches, Teaching jobs had the total of 7,255 searches,Agriculture related jobs had the total of 3453 searches, Advertising jobs had the total of 1900 searches.

At a ratio of 6.5 to 1 between Oil and Gas jobs and the second most searched for job on Efritin.com, Engineering,  the gap between Oil and Gas jobs and others continue to widen. Advertising jobs are the least searched for at the ratio of 127.7:1 to the most searched job. This is even a significant increase from the 2621 searches for Oil and Gas jobs in third quarter of 2015 while there was none for Engineering or any other.
