Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has affirmed his complete dedication to the club, stating he requires no assurances about his position. This comes after CEO David Hopkinson recently declined to offer a definitive endorsement, remarking he had "no stance on Howe's future." Pressure has mounted following a loss to historic rivals Sunderland in the latest Premier League fixture, which saw Newcastle fans booing the team. Days prior, the Magpies suffered a crushing 2-7 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League knockout stages.

"For me, nothing has changed. I am absolutely 100% committed to my job. That commitment has never wavered on my part. I worked during the break to ensure we return as a stronger team. I don't need guarantees from anyone. I need to do my job and ensure the team is successful."

"There certainly haven't been any disagreements. I have a really good relationship with Ross Wilson (sporting director) and David Hopkinson. We plan to try and lead the club forward in the smartest way possible. I've received really good support from both of them, who are the key figures I work with daily at the football club. We are all completely united on what needs to be done."
