If all goes according to plan, Canadian rapper Drake will be cashing a $19 million cheque from Apple very soon.

According to several reports, Drake will soon be tapped up by the tech giants to be a guest DJ on its soon to be floated iTunes Radio.

In a bid to challenge the competition (Pandora, YouTube and Spotify) Apple is recruiting superstars like Drake such as David Guetta and Pharrell to help iTunes Radio dominate the market.

The platform is also rumoured to feature exclusive content from Kanye West's album. iTunes Radio will be free for three months during the trail period. Users will be able to share content via Apple connect.
