DJ Spinall recently dropped his second album, "Ten", and the buzz around it has been totally fine for the time being. It is definitely a step up from his previous music project, "My Story", released in the year 2015.

The striking features about this new album is its fusion of themes which gives it a versatile feel of Pop, R&B, trap and dancehall.

Thanks to collaborations with A-list artistes such as Davido, Falz, Niniola, Ice Prince, Patoranking and Sarkodie, "Ten" should not be so far from the list of 2016 albums deserving a maximum score.

The lead single of the album, 'Packaging' featuring Davido provided the perfect picture of what to expect from DJ Spinall before the album dropped as it was nothing short of amazing. 'Ohema', one of the love songs listed among the tracks is however no pushover as it seems to be sinking into the hearts of the fans.

Top five rated songs on the album include:

'Chop life' Ft. Byno and Ice Prince

'Ojukokoro' Ft. Niniola

'Holiday' Ft. Sauti Sol

'Don't Stop' Ft. Shaydee & Falz

'Bubble for me' Ft. Ceeza

The last track listed is a kicker and an evidence of DJ Spinall's understanding of the right ingredient necessary for a good track.

Though the album is rated good on an overall basis, one can't just feel like tracks such as 'Hundred' featuring Yung L and Sarkodie and 'Zebede' which had Koker and Dremo on could have done so much better.

Total rating of "Ten" puts the album at a score of 3.5/5 on a frank basis.
