Buhari seeks Pastor Adeboye’s blessings

General Buhari reportedly called the clergy just after the decision to appoint Professor Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate was made.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), General Muhammad Buhari has sought the blessing of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye ahead of the 2015 elections.

According to , Buhari today, Wednesday, December 17, called the cleric immediately after a pastor from the church, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, was appointed as the running mate of the APC presidential candidate.

Sahara Reporters reports that an aid to the APC presidential aspirant revealed that “pastor Adeboye gave his blessing over the phone and wished Buhari and Osinbajo a successful election campaign.”

Professor Yemi Osinbajo who has been announced by APC as the running mate to its presidential candidate, General Muhammad Buhari, is a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Olive Tree Parish, Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos and also a close confidant of the General overseer of the church.
