Why do we try so hard to please man?

At a time in life, we probably have been bullied and bullied till you start to wish you were like the bully.

There was a time, I kept trying to please people around me, from the way I walk, to the way I talked, even to my dressing. I wanted people to have a specific perception of me. Till I discovered that it all doesn’t matter.

The memory verse says it all, you have been verified by God, so why worry?

The Lord beautifully and fearfully made you (Psalm 139: 14) there is no reason to please man, the only one you should worry about pleasing is yourself and God.
