Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora are set to clash in London in a battle for prestige and glory. Today, these two heavyweight titans of professional boxing will face off in a bout billed as Chisora's farewell fight, but it could potentially mark the end of two careers. Or neither. After all, this is boxing.
Both the 40-year-old Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) and the 42-year-old Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) will be fighting their 50th professional bout. The Brit turned pro in 2007, while Wilder followed in 2008. Former WBC champion Wilder has appeared more hesitant in his recent outings, securing only two victories in his last six fights. Chisora is also past his prime, but interest in the fight is high, as both boxers are known for taking risks and hunting for the knockout.
The undercard will feature a light heavyweight European title fight between Vidal Riley and defending champion Mateusz Masternak, along with other intriguing matchups.
