Martín Demichelis focused on Rayo Vallecano's form and momentum after their emphatic 3-0 victory over Mallorca, emphasizing that Iñigo Pérez's team is not reflected accurately by their league standing.
He further stressed that their comprehensive win against AEK in the Conference League was no fluke, highlighting the cohesion and intensity in the Madrid side's play.
The Argentine coach, in his statements regarding Sunday's match at Son Moix, noted: "They are a team with a very clear philosophy under their coach, Iñigo Pérez. Their 3-0 win in the Conference League was no accident. I believe they have fewer points than they deserve, because when you analyze an opponent and fully understand their playing style, you see that, regardless of who starts, everyone knows their role. They are a team that presses intensely, and in yesterday's game, especially in the first half, we knew we had to manage that pressure calmly."
