D'Banj Wins Best African Act At MOBO 2012 Awards

The Koko master has done it again! D'Banj yesterday won the coveted award for Best African Act at the Mobo 2012 Awards. D'banj was announced as winner for the award at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, UK, where the awards ceremony was held. He beat other African acts like Fatoumata Diawara, The Very Best, Spoek Mathambo, Fally Ipupa, Sarkodie, Cabo Snoop, Camp Mulla and Amadou Mariam.

D'banj was nominated last year for the same award but lost to fellow Nigerian singer, Wizkid. Despite the turbulent past months and break from long time friend and producer Don Jazzy, the koko master still comes out on top. We congratulate the koko master D'banj on his award.
