Cherry-Evans was injured on Saturday as Australia suffered a 30-12 defeat to New Zealand in their first game of the tournament at Suncorp Stadium.

Subsequent scans have revealed a tear, with assistant coach Craig Fitzgibbon confirming the injury was unusual in its nature.
"It seems to be a rare one they don't see too often," said Fitzgibbon.
"It's a bit early to throw a timeframe on but he [Australia's physio] said it is quite a unique injury."
Australia and England meet at Melbourne's AAMI Park next Sunday, the latter having opened their campaign with a 32-26 win over Samoa.
