Thanks to this gift, we get new slates, we get another chance to reinvent ourselves, to become the people God created us to be.

Every day, we get a reset button, meaning we get to another opportunity to do better, make better choices, serve God better, and simply live better.

Unfortunately, most people do not utilize this, because they do the same negative, unGodly things, each day.

We need to understand, realise that we are blessed, that every day is a gift from Our Father, a present that should not be taken lightly.

Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not "

The truth is that we have no right to still be alive, hale and hearty, because we are no better than the dead, sick, and the troubled.

So, the mere fact that we can open our eyes, and our limbs can carry us out of bed, and onto work, school, e.t.c is more than enough reason to thank God, then, show Him how much we appreciate this gift by making the best out of each day.

James 4:14is the perfect reason for the importance of taking advantage of everyday that we get, on earth.

"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

The fact that we have today, does not mean we will get tomorrow, in fact today might be the only chance you get to do right by God, let your loved ones know how much you care, and simply take that chance you have always wanted.

Ecclesiastes 9:7-10 tells us to stop waiting for tomorrow (which may not come) and, "Eat bread with gusto, Drink wine with a robust heart. Oh yes—God takes pleasure in your pleasure! Dress festively every morning. Don’t skimp on colors and scarves. Relish life with the spouse you love. Each and every day of your precarious life. Each day is God’s gift. It’s all you get in exchange. For the hard work of staying alive. Make the most of each one! Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily! This is your last and only chance at it, For there’s neither work to do nor thoughts to think. In the company of the dead, where you’re most certainly headed."
