There is a popular saying that goes like this,
It implies that anyone without values, standards or a way of living will be easily swayed or influenced.
As children of God, we can not afford to go through life without making a stand for God, and holding on it.
Knowing that you stand for God, His Words, commandments, and standards helps you navigate life easily because you know what you want.
This makes you an impenetrable wall, meaning you can afford to laugh in the face of the Devil, his tricks, and people, who might try to get influence you, negatively.
Hebrews 11:26 tells us that Moses was able to overlook the worldly temptations, because he kept his eye on the prize, which is God and eternal life with Him, in Heaven.
“He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward”.
Note that standing for God does not make things any less easy.
2 Timothy 3:12 -13 says, "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived."
Verse 14 goes on to say, "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it."

1 Peter 3:15 adds, “But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”
Let us strive to stand/live for God, with the knowledge that He will take care of the rest and our eyes on the eternal prize.
