Psalms 78:41 -42; "Yes, they turned back and tempted God, and LIMITED the Holy One of Israel. They remembered not his hand...."

Human beings are so  limited, we are limited in our thinking, dealings, our bodies are limited too because we fall sick and eventually die.

With all of these limitations, its no wonder we tend to put these same limits on God, and how we perceive Him.

However, just because we are limited does not mean we have to regard God in the same light, He is God, for crying out loud.

He is the creator of all things, including the Heavens and the earth, humans, animals, everything.

So, why on earth do we insist on limiting Him? Why are we fearful when we make demands because we think it is too much? Why are we fearful of our dreams because we can not possibly see how they will become reality?

Psalm 78:40-43 shows us the foolishness in limiting God, "How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the wasteland!Again and again they put God to the test; they They did not remember his

This Biblical reference reminds us of what happens when we limit Our Father in Heaven.

When we limit God, we vex/annoy Him, in the same light, we forget all of the amazing things He has done in the past. We also forget that He remains unchanged, which means that He can those things again, and that He can do exceedingly above all we could ever ask for!

Hebrews 13:8 - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

How do we limit God?

We limit Him with our doubts, lack of faith, not trusting Him enough, disobedience, ungrateful hearts, by trying to rush His plan, do things our way. Simply put, we limit God by forgetting who He is.

The point of this devotional is to remind us of the kind of God that we serve, that He is infinite, not limited.

Matthew 19:26 says, "Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with Godthings are possible.”

This Bible verse does not say some things, it says ALL things are possible with Him so, stop limiting Him. Stop reducing His ability to help, stop insulting His infinite power because He can do everything.

Take the limitations you have put on God, whether it is your background, status, physical appearance, whatever it is that you think stops Him from using you or stops you from being everything you want to be.

Take all off these off Him and start believing Him for great things.

Genesis 18:14 - "Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."

Remove the shackles from God's hands and watch Him do things you haven't even began to dream of!
