Todays devotional is from the book of Malachi.
Malachi 2: 13 says, "Another thing you do: You flood the Lord’s altar with tears. You weep and wail because he no longer looks with favor on your offerings or accepts them with pleasure from your hands.
14: You ask, “Why?” It is because the Lord is the witness between you and the wife of your youth. You have been unfaithful to her, though she is your partner, the wife of your marriage covenant".
These bible passages all about the importance of being faithful in our relationships, something that is rapidly losing it's value in this generation.
We live in a glossy world, where being faithful is considered old school, and obsolete, while being unfaithful and fickle is praised.
There is no doubt that the grass might look greener on the other side, however, your grass could be just as green, if properly taken care of.
Nurture yourselves and your partners, instead of looking for something new, and your relationship will blossom.
Today, we are encouraged to hold on to our marriages, which are covenants made between God and man.
